Refund Policy

Edvisor has no responsibility to provide refunds on policies that have already started.

However, Edvisor will always look to honor the refund policies of our partner insurance providers as detailed here.

Please note that there will be a 3% transaction fee on any refunds provided by Edvisor.

What happens if I make a mistake on the insurance application?

Policies can be adjusted for mistakes/errors made on the application provided they are made within 48 hours of the booking being submitted. 

We will fully refund any difference as a result of the adjustment.

Under what conditions can I cancel my insurance policy or reduce the coverage after I have booked it?

If your visa was denied and you did not travel to the country.

If your existing visa was not extended.

What do I need to provide if I cancel my policy or reduce the coverage?

You will need to provide supporting documentation showing that you qualify for a cancelation or coverage reduction. Please see 'Best Practice & Procedure' :

How much of a refund do you receive if the policy has not yet started?

You will receive a full refund if you cancel the policy entirely or a partial refund if you reduce the coverage

You will receive a full refund if you cancel the policy entirely or a partial refund if you reduce the coverage

How much of a refund do students and I receive if the policy has already started?

This will depend on the terms and conditions of each provider. This information will be found within the KB of each provider. If you have any questions, contact the market's BDM.
